QA / AI Tester Job Opportunity – Ensuring Quality in AI & Government Digital Platforms

About the Role
The QA – AI Tester will be responsible for validating the quality, accuracy, and reliability of AI-enabled applications. You will design and execute test plans, evaluate AI outputs, identify defects, and ensure that both the AI models and application features meet defined quality and compliance standards. The role involves close collaboration with development, data science, and product teams to deliver a robust end-user experience.
Experience Required
- 3 – 8 years of experience in QA / Software Testing
- At least 2 years of experience testing AI/ML, NLP, or chatbot systems
Key Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Test Design
Collaborate with business analysts and development teams to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans. Create detailed test cases covering functional, non-functional, performance, and AI-specific testing scenarios.
2. Test Execution & Defect Management
Execute test cases across development, QA, and staging environments. Log defects using industry-standard tools, verify fixes, maintain traceability, and generate quality metrics and reports prior to production releases.
3. AI & LLM Quality Validation
Perform specialized testing for AI systems including hallucination detection, factual accuracy validation, response consistency, and output format compliance. Ensure that AI responses are reliable, accurate, and aligned with defined communication and terminology standards.
4. Multimodal & Semantic Testing
Test multimodal AI capabilities such as text queries, image handling, OCR accuracy, and audio transcription quality. Validate semantic search accuracy including query-to-document matching, embedding quality, similarity thresholds, and retrieval effectiveness.
5. Automation & Scripting
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern testing frameworks and tools. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve coverage, efficiency, and regression stability.
6. Performance, Load & Security Testing
Execute load testing, stress testing, and performance benchmarking to ensure systems meet strict latency and throughput requirements. Conduct security testing including authentication, authorization, API security, input validation, and data encryption verification.
7. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with developers and product managers to reproduce bugs, perform root cause analysis, and validate fixes. Participate in retrospectives and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
- Hands-on experience testing AI/ML, NLP, chatbot, or RAG systems
- Expertise in functional, integration, system, and regression testing
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
Educational Qualification
Any Graduate (preferably B.E / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent degree in IT / Computer Science) with a strong academic record from a recognized institution.

- AI-specific testing: prompt testing, hallucination detection, bias analysis
- Test Automation: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, pytest, Cucumber
- API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, GraphQL testing tools
- Performance Testing: JMeter, Locust, Gatling, k6
- Python for test automation and data validation
- Vector database and semantic search testing
