Clean VS Green Solutions (CG Solutions) is hiring experienced Data Scientists to work on cutting-edge AI/ML-driven government platforms focused on environmental clearances, regulatory compliance, and e-governance systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply advanced data science, NLP, and geospatial analytics to real-world, high-impact public sector challenges.

About the Role

As a Data Scientist, you will design, develop, and deploy intelligent AI/ML solutions for large-scale government applications. You will work with diverse and complex datasets including PDF documents, scanned images, geospatial data, audio files, and structured regulatory records. Your work will directly contribute to automating decision-making, improving transparency, and enhancing efficiency in environmental compliance processes.

Experience Required

  • 4 – 8 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Applied AI

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Advanced Modeling

Analyze, clean, and structure large-scale environmental, regulatory, geospatial, and multimodal datasets. Develop predictive and classification models to support project categorization, deficiency detection, document summarization, and spatial risk analysis.

2. Machine Learning & AI Implementation

Build and deploy ML algorithms that automate regulatory workflows and improve operational efficiency. You will design and optimize Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for chatbots and agentic AI systems, ensuring high accuracy and contextual relevance.

3. Document Intelligence & Unstructured Data Processing

Work extensively with unstructured data such as PDFs, scanned forms, images, and audio files. Implement intelligent OCR, metadata tagging, semantic chunking, embeddings generation, and vector database indexing to enable high-quality semantic search and information retrieval.

4. Data Visualization & Dashboards

Create interactive dashboards and visual analytics to communicate insights clearly to government stakeholders and decision-makers. Translate complex data outputs into actionable intelligence using charts, maps, and reports.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with business analysts, data engineers, domain experts, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of AI-driven data pipelines into enterprise systems and APIs.

6. Research, Innovation & Best Practices

Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, NLP, LLMs, geospatial analytics, and regulatory technology. Apply innovative approaches to solve complex problems in environmental and compliance domains.

7. Documentation, Governance & Compliance

Prepare comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries, model cards, pipeline designs, and data lineage. Ensure adherence to government IT standards, data privacy, and security policies.

Must-Have Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Applied AI (NLP-focused)
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience with scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Experience with Hugging Face Transformers and LLM-based applications
  • Expertise in NLP techniques: tokenization, preprocessing, semantic analysis, document parsing
  • Experience with RAG architectures and vector databases (OpenSearch, Pinecone, FAISS)
  • Strong understanding of embeddings for semantic search and retrieval
  • Experience handling large, messy, heterogeneous datasets
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices
  • Version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and workflow orchestration tools

Good to Have

  • Geospatial analytics experience (GeoPandas, Shapely, GIS tools)
  • Knowledge of GIS, KML, and remote sensing data formats
  • Experience in environmental, regulatory, or e-governance AI systems
  • Exposure to agentic AI and decision-support systems

Educational Qualification

Any Graduate (preferably B.E / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent degree in IT / Computer Science) with a strong academic record from a recognized institution.

Why Join CG Solutions?
